Your Journey

Getting to Omadhoo

One speedboat ride from Malé and you're on island time — ninety minutes across open ocean and turquoise atoll.

The Crossing

Ninety Minutes From the Airport

Omadhoo is reached by scheduled speedboat from Malé and Velana International Airport — roughly an hour and a half skimming past sandbanks and neighbouring islands. It's the simplest route to the island, and the most scenic. Tell us your flight details and we'll reserve your seats, meet you at the jetty, and carry your bags the rest of the way.

Planning Your Arrival

Timing Your Flights

The speedboat won't wait for a delayed flight, so give yourself room. Land at least two hours before your intended departure — immigration, baggage and the walk to the jetty take longer than you'd expect after a long haul.

  • Arriving before 8:30 AM? You'll make the 10:30 boat comfortably
  • Landing in the afternoon? The 4:00 PM departure is your best bet
  • Late-night arrival? We'll arrange a Malé guesthouse and put you on the morning boat

Before You Board

Book Ahead

Speedboat seats are limited and sell out in peak months. Share your dates early and we'll hold your places.

Pack Light for the Deck

Keep sunscreen, water and a light layer in your day bag — luggage is stowed for the crossing and the cabin can be breezy.

Prone to Seasickness?

The ride is smooth most days, but take something before boarding if you're sensitive. Seats mid-cabin are steadiest.

We'll Handle the Journey

Send us your arrival and departure flights and we'll take care of the boats, the timings, and the welcome at the other end.
