Your Journey
One speedboat ride from Malé and you're on island time — ninety minutes across open ocean and turquoise atoll.
The Crossing
Omadhoo is reached by scheduled speedboat from Malé and Velana International Airport — roughly an hour and a half skimming past sandbanks and neighbouring islands. It's the simplest route to the island, and the most scenic. Tell us your flight details and we'll reserve your seats, meet you at the jetty, and carry your bags the rest of the way.
Speedboat Timetable
Seats fill quickly in high season, so let us book yours as soon as your flights are confirmed.
Times are subject to change with weather and demand. We confirm the exact departure with you before your travel date.
Planning Your Arrival
The speedboat won't wait for a delayed flight, so give yourself room. Land at least two hours before your intended departure — immigration, baggage and the walk to the jetty take longer than you'd expect after a long haul.
On Arrival
Omadhoo is small enough that everything is a short walk, and Kashiveli sits minutes from the harbour. Someone from the guesthouse will be waiting when you step off the boat — no taxis to find, no directions to follow.
Good to Know
Speedboat seats are limited and sell out in peak months. Share your dates early and we'll hold your places.
Keep sunscreen, water and a light layer in your day bag — luggage is stowed for the crossing and the cabin can be breezy.
The ride is smooth most days, but take something before boarding if you're sensitive. Seats mid-cabin are steadiest.
Send us your arrival and departure flights and we'll take care of the boats, the timings, and the welcome at the other end.
